Terms of use

By accessing or using the Free Tools provided on www.avangate.com, you agree to and are bound by the Terms of Use, constituting the entire agreement between you and Avangate.

Free tools:
  1. Free Tools are free services provided "as is" with no warranties whatsoever.
PAD Validator
  1. PAD Validator is a free tool for validating PAD files against PAD Specifications 3.01, designed by Association of Shareware Professionals
  2. For the validation process we also included our own suggestions in order for your software to better meet the requirements that download portals impose. They are labeled as Warnings.
  3. While we do our best to provide best services, Avangate can not be held in any way responsible for any incorrect data or results that PAD Validator will supply. Use of the tool, the service, the information or the results supplied is entirely at your own risk.
PAD Promoter
  1. PAD Promoter, is a free tool for software vendors designed to automatically submit PAD files to download portals.
  2. PAD Promoter submits the information you have filled in the submission form to all the download portals that we will provide and offer read-only access to the information. PAD Promoter has no control over what happens to your information after it is submitted.
  3. Some download portals may not accept your submission, or may take up to 2 months to include your software.
  4. PAD files that link to sites with adult / illegal content will automatically be banned.
  5. We will log your IP address for security reasons in order to prevent abuse of the service.
  6. You will accept and review the confirmation email sent out by Avangate which includes important information about your site submission.
  7. In lieu of a fee for using PAD Promoter submission tool, you will be subscribed to our email digest which contains helpful articles about the latest trends in the software industry and provides access to resources about shareware industry tools and techniques. You may unsubscribe from this newsletter at any time if you decide that you no longer wish to receive this information at http://www.avangate.com/newsletter/unsubscribe.php
