Online payments
ARMS - partner relationship management system - is also integrated with Avangate - eCommerce
platform for online software sales, allowing resellers to
pay their invoices via wire transfer and also online, using a debit or a credit card. If vendors
accept online payments, invoices are generated directly by Avangate.
Accepting payments online, adds to the speeding up of the
whole process of selling software and increases convenience both for vendors and resellers.

License management
License management is a crucial issue in the software industry as a considerable part of software
revenue comes from license renewal. Without end-customer information, this process is end-customers
and resellers dependant.
ARMS facilitates a no-hassle, quick license renewal process through
an increased visibility and control over end-customer information. This also aids the vendor and the
resellers to better manage promotional and cross-selling campaigns.

Product management
ARMS has a Product management module included, an essential part of the whole software sales
and tracking process. General product information needs to be inputted into the system: Product code,
Product Name, Description, License Key List/RC-registration codes. Also, each product must have a
license scheme assigned to
it. ARMS has a built-in license scheme generator, extremely easy to use, that accommodates any
license scheme previously used by the vendor.
The system takes into account basic and extended
criteria, with mandatory or elective options and offers the possibility of applying percentages to
sums calculated for each criterion.
After a license scheme has been assigned to a product, price details need to be defined for each license criteria,
resulting in a ready-to-sell, accurately priced software product.

Order processing
This is an important element for a dynamic distribution channel and improves radically the time
to market.
ARMS is a web-based system, that vendors and their partners have access to anytime,
from anywhere and are therefore able to place orders 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.
Orders are processed in the fastest time possible.
License/ registration codes get allocated automatically to each order.
Resellers can also pay online through the Avangate system - eCommerce platform for online software
sales.
This method of self-service adds to the speeding up of the whole process of selling software.
Orders are processed immediately after being placed and
resellers receive an instant notification of the order confirmation and, provided payment terms are
met,
they have access to the allocated
license/ registration codes which they can pass on to their clients and complete the order.
The end-customer registration system works best when RC/AK systems are being used.

Order and invoice management
ARMS is a web-based software sales management system allowing users to process orders, generate
invoices and manage their distribution network overall in the fastest time possible. Vendors have
instant access to all information needed to complete or approve an order: reseller credit limit,
payment terms, financial status of each and every partner.
They also have access to information
such as overdue invoices or resellers exceeding their credit limit.
All documents are being generated and processed automatically and in a standardized fashion. Information is centralized
and accessible anywhere, anytime.
If vendors also accept online payments from resellers through Avangate - eCommerce platform for online software sales -
invoices are generated directly by Avangate.

Automatic License Code delivery to resellers
When an order is placed, a number of Licence Codes (Registration Codes or, respectively Activation
Keys, or download Links, depending on the system used by the vendor) corresponding to the requested
products (licenses) get allocated to that order. The only condition is for Registration Codes/
Activation Keys to be supplied prior into the system by the vendor. Once the
reseller receives an order approval notification and provided payment terms are met, he has instant
access to these deliverables which he can then pass on to his clients, end-customers.

End-customer registration system
The ARMS system has been built to ensure vendors have the right mechanism at their disposal to
be able to collect end-customer information. This is done by either accommodating the RC/AK software
delivery model or by offering a comparable end-user registration system for vendors who work directly
with
Activation Keys. Both vendors and resellers have access to this valuable information, since it is
processed automatically by ARMS and displayed within the Reports module.
The advantages of capturing end-customer details are unquestionable: it allows full control over sold licenses and it
also permits the vendor and the resellers to better manage promotional and cross-selling campaigns.
Concretely, once the reseller receives an order approval notification, he has instant access to license codes
allocated to that order (provided payment terms are met). He then sends the codes to end-users who fill in a registration form (the layout of which
can be customized by the reseller, or by the vendor; the former template takes precedence) and subsequently receive
the license activation key directly from the vendor.
The system can also function when activation keys are sent to end-customers in a first instance, however in this case the license registration process becomes optional for end-customers.

Detailed, centralized reporting
With ARMS all order and sales information is centralized in one place, accessible anytime from
anywhere. Reports are available online and can be generated by various criteria such as account
manager, product or a selection of products, date range, country and the list continues. All necessary
sales information is a few clicks away, in real-time.
Resellers also have access to reports (by product, by date, by order with various other criteria).
