Smart Ordering InterfaceRegional settings automatically filled in on the ordering interface. Avangate uses the real time geolocation feature in order to provide location-aware content for your clients. Prices are displayed in their familiar currency on the checkout form, the country is auto-selected and the correct taxes, if applicable, are calculated as well.
Moreover, by automatically detecting a customer's IP, the system verifies if the currency of your customer's country matches one of the transaction currencies supported by the system. If there is a match, the ordering currency changes automatically to your customer's currency. This is especially useful if the buy now link does not have a currency parameter.
A vendor has the option of not using the geolocation feature, in which case the prices on the checkout form are displayed in the currency chosen by the vendor and the country field is not pre-filled ("Please select your country" appears instead). Relevant taxes, if applicable, are calculated after the country is selected.

Improve your conversion rates by offering your clients a streamlined buying process: Checkout with cart functionalities. This new ordering model allows you to embed cross-sell and up-sell products directly to the checkout page, instead of sending the buyer to the initial add to cart page.
Customizable DesignThe Control Panel allows an easy customization of the ordering pages design according to the look and fell of your website. SSL support and multi-language support are included. Free space is made available on the secure Avangate server for storing images; customization is made through templates managed directly by you.
Customizable Order fieldsThe Avangate order checkout form can be customized with extra fields. You may for instance wish to collect additional information from buyers, besides the billing information, such as "Product registration code" or "How did you find out about this software?". Custom fields can be displayed either as a textbox or a checkbox.
Some of the additional fields such as "How did you find out about us?" should be requested per order, while others like "Product registration code" should be requested for each product within an order. These options are easily set in the Control Panel. Field validation using Perl compatible regular expressions is also available.
