When dealing with digital products like software, an important stage in completing an order is to supply license details to your customers by sending them either a binary key or an activation alphanumeric code via email. One of Avangate's delivery methods for binary keys and activation codes is via static lists by adding a certain number of codes or keys considered large enough to provide a constant supply within a certain period of time.

The second Avangate delivery method for binary keys and activation codes is represented by the dynamic lists. Using this method, codes are generated in real time by querying your web server and delivered to your customers by Avangate, being a more elegant and non-restrictive method.

You can offer your end-users personalized burn-on-demand CDs of the software they just purchased through the Avangate eCommerce platform. Customization of the Avangate Backup CD has virtually no limits, in terms of content; vendors gain additional promotional and sales opportunities as each backup CD sold can include trial copies of other software programs, special offers, presentations, to name just a few of the Backup CD advantages. No set-up fees, no inventory and no minimum order volumes are required.

DIS - Download Insurance Service
During the ordering process you can give your clients the opportunity to purchase Download Insurance Service which will enable them to download a binary file assigned to your products for a period of 24 months, either by accessing a link or by logging in to Avangate myAccount. Avangate will store and serve all insured product files for the selected period of time.

License Renewal
Take advantage of the License Renewal module, maximizing the chances of new purchases and strengthening the customer-product relationship, while having a bigger picture of all your customers renewing their licenses, via detailed reports. You can setup up the license renewal service with a built-in Wizard, import your existing licenses into the Avangate database, allow discounts to be set for renewals and moreover you can notify your clients regarding the products about to expire with customizable reminders. The billing is done both manually and automatically with recurring payments (this option allows you to bill the buyer for a software renewal a fixed amount of money on a fixed schedule, without his intervention).
