The first GECAD company was established by Radu in 1992 and, in just a few years' time, its products and services were well appreciated worldwide. His responsibilities covered the leadership and strategic area by proactively planning, leading and coordinating the whole company's activity. RAV (Romanian Antivirus), the core product of GECAD, was being distributed by 150 resellers in 60 countries when the technology was sold to Microsoft in 2003.

After that, Radu started four new businesses inside the GECAD Group, including Avangate, the ESD solution of the organization, becoming President and Chairman of the Board, having an impactful, strategic and representative role in the company.

He has been awarded many honors during his professional activity, proving yet again his ground-breaking business capabilities.
