Avangate - Success at CeBIT

Avangate, the online software sales division of GECAD ePayment, took part in the CeBIT technology fair in Hannover, Germany, between 9-15 March this year, making it the 6th participation of GECAD Group companies in this prestigious international event.

Presented within the Romanian national pavilion, the Avangate solutions were very well received by software authors and publishers looking to expand their Internet sales and web presence. The array of additional online marketing services offered by Avangate has proven itself to be very attractive and a real alternative to more established e-Commerce solutions.

"More than 150 sales leads have been generated, which is an extremely positive result and higher than what we had set as objectives for the show. Existing Avangate customers also visited the fair, offering yet another opportunity to strengthen partnerships and improve our knowledge of customer needs and their business goals.
Positive contacts with national associations and organizations that were present at the CeBIT International event have also been forged - providing a very good source of information regarding the e-Commerce potential and key players for each country.", announced Dragos Stanescu, Sales Manager.
