Communication Specialist

Job Description

The Avangate Communication Specialist plans and implements communication projects within the marketing strategy and plan in order to generate a good reputation for the company and its brands on an international level. Her/his activity is subordinated to the Marketing Manager, with whom she/he drafts and implements the communication strategy, according to company objectives and budget. He/she also interacts directly with representatives of the other departments (sales, technical, operational, web marketing) in order to identify the best communication tools and messages.

Job Requirements

  • 2-3 years experience in a similar position, working on international accounts in-house or within a PR/Communication agency/department;
  • higher education preferably in marketing, communication, journalism, foreign languages;
  • good knowledge of corporate and brand communication;
  • eXcellent communication abilities, proactive, responsibility;
  • English language is a must.

Key Responsibilities
  • on behalf of the company, ensures efficient and consistent communication with international media, existing and potential partners;
  • together with the Marketing Manager plans the corporate communication strategy; suggests the budget necessary to implement projects established within the communication strategy;
  • permanently monitors the relevance of the agreed strategy and suggests new directions;
  • identifies communication opportunities, develops and coordinates communication campaigns according to the communication strategy, company objectives, market tendencies, costs, etc.;
  • edits all communication and promotion materials (press releases, articles, newsletters, case studies, brochures, others);
  • maintains and updates company web pages, on content level;
  • coordinates company participation in various events (fairs, exhibitions, press conferences, etc), together with the Event Specialist;
  • permanently collaborates with other departments in order to ensure consistency and efficiency of established strategies.
