More recently, Radu successfully exited from his second business, GECAD ePayment, Romania's leading ecommerce service provider.

Radu Georgescu also plays an active role in promoting technology ventures in his home country, Romania and was the President of the Romanian Software Association. He was also decorated with the "Star of Romania", the country's highest civilian honor for his role in promoting information technology in the country. In addition to playing a hands-on role in the development of Avangate, Radu is also the Chairman of Axigen and GECAD Net, as well as Director of ePayment and ROL.ro.

Singh's business experience spans across business sectors which include telecommunication, aviation, logistics, tourism, investment banking and real estate. His career highlights include the establishment of the first private cargo airline in India, the first mobile network in India and the first 3G Mobile telephony network in Europe.

Singh has lived and worked in Europe for the last 12 years. Singh was awarded a Knighthood by the President of Romania in 2004 for his contribution in improving the investment climate of the country. Singh is also actively involved in supporting start-up and early stage business ventures in Europe and has raised over 1 billion US dollars in the last ten years towards this end. He has been involved with the Gecad Group of companies since 2003.

Previously, Daniel was the Investment Director in charge of Telecoms and Technology for the AIG New Europe Fund based in Warsaw.

He has continuously lived and worked in Central Europe for 20 years, working in the CEE Venture Capital and Private Equity industry the entire time.

Daniel resides in the Czech Republic. He has a BA (finance) from Washington State University and an MBA from University of California at Berkeley.

Mr. Lansing was Chief Executive Officer, President and a director of ValueVision Media, Inc., a direct marketing company from December 2003 to October 2007. Mr. Lansing was a general partner of General Atlantic Partners, LLC, a private equity investment firm, from 2001 to December 2003.

From 2000 to September 2001, Mr. Lansing was the Chief Executive Officer and a director of NBC Internet, Inc., an Internet portal company. From 1998 to March 2000, Mr. Lansing served in various positions for Fingerhut Companies, Inc., a direct marketing company, including President and Chief Executive Officer.

From November 1996 to May 1998, Mr. Lansing served as Vice President of Corporate Business Development for General Electric Corp. and was a member of General Electric's Corporate Executive Council.

From January 1996 to October 1996, he served as Chief Operating Officer of Prodigy, Inc., an online service company. From 1986 through 1995, Mr. Lansing was first an associate and later a principal at McKinsey & Co., a management consulting company.

Mr. Lansing serves on the board of directors of Rightnow Technologies (NASDAQ: RNOW), a SaaS CRM company and FICO (NYSE:FICO), a decision analytics company. Mr. Lansing holds a B.A. degree in English from Wesleyan University and a J.D. degree from Georgetown University.

Prior to joining Avangate in 2011, Carl served as SVP at Serena Software, one of the largest independent software companies in the Application Lifecycle Management market. Running more than half the company, Carl was responsible for all of Serena’s products and services - including launching Serena’s first ever SaaS based solutions.

Carl has also held multiple executive roles at Oracle including running Oracle’s Sales, Marketing and eCommerce products division.

Throughout his career, Carl has also helped to build multiple venture-backed companies, including RubiconSoft, a company he co-founded to provide better visibility into demand for the manufacturing industry.

Carl received an MS in Engineering-Economic Systems from Stanford University and a BS in Electrical Engineering from Princeton University, where he graduated Summa Cum Laude. Carl is passionate about playing the piano and music composition, receiving the “Most Outstanding Musician Award” from the New England Conservatory.
