Promote your blog in order to gain exposure

A blog can help you stay in touch with others, receive feedback from clients, build online reputation and awareness of your new releases. In the series of interviews that Avangate started, most of the guests admitted using blogging as a marketing strategy and also that they were very good at it. In order to gain more exposure and increase your targeted traffic, Avangate created a list with blog directories where you can submit freely your blog.

The first classification criterion is Google PageRank followed by Alexa Ranking. The blog directories are listed with links to "Submit blog" or "Register" page. Last Updated: Sptember, 2008

This is still a good valid list as a lot of the 'top **' lists floating around go way out of date and a lot of the links are broken. Your is a very useful list and one that I've started using so thank you.

#11 is BOGUS!

They scam you into registering, and then when you click submit, they inform you that submission is $49.95!!

They suck. Please remove them from this list. Not even *close* to free
